DVR 15 - Win 10 Audio dev graph isolation process eats cpu

PostWed Oct 17, 2018 1:44 am

Hi,

DVR 15.1.0.23
Windows 10

Since a couple of days ago every time I start DVR a Windows process that usually uses 1% cpu started going up to 10% and stays there until I close DVR.
It is only triggered by DVR, and it makes the fan to be always on and the computer heats up.

The process name is "Windows audio device graph isolation".
I have no special audio effects active, and when I play anything that involves audio it uses around 1% of the cpu, except when I open DVR. Even if I do nothing in DVR , just open it and leave it there using like 0.2% cpu, the windows process starts eating cpu.
I also tried reinstalling the sound driver, but nothing happened.

I will appreciate your help to troubleshoot this issue.

Thank you
Ricardo
