reconform image sequence

I'm getting close to an ideal workflow regarding proxies. i only experience some issues when its up to my DJI drone footage. i guess it has something to do with the fact that all of those shots are image sequences (.dng)
im working with alot of r3d footage, xdcam, xavc and so on. some in 5k, 4k, hd. all mixed together but they are all 16:9, and all 25p
when i create proxies of all footage at the same time, via the media management tool, i can get everything in HD, low bitrate MXF formats, and it works really like a charm. also in the same folder structure. really great.
only, when i try to reconform to the original clips, for coloring, it all seems easy peasy, except from the image sequences. i just cant figure out which settings i should use, regarding timecodes, etc. so to be clear, the original files are image sequences, and the proxies are mxf video files.
i can however force conform every drone-clip by hand, but im trying to automate this whole process.
does anyone have suggestions? or should i create different proxies (also image sequences) just for that footage?
