Rotoscoping Hell

PostThu Nov 01, 2018 1:12 am

I am rotoscoping a bad footage clip in the color page by tracking a power window. A few things are making it far too laborious:

1) if I try to click on a control point to move it, sometimes instead not only do I get those 2 control handles, but also a point that has 2 dotted lines that connect 2 non-consecutive points. What's up with that? Any way to avoid that?

2) I can't seem to delete any control points. I have no middle mouse button, and I tried right-clicking, to no avail.

Any input would be great.

Thanks.

My best advice is to get a cheap wired 3-button USB mouse (under $15). I struggle every time I have to use somebody else's Resolve that doesn't have one.
