Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to export Markers from a Timeline into an .html or a .txt file from Resolve ?
It's a manipulation possible on Premiere Pro but I don't find it on Resolve ?

Thank you for your answer,
Alessandro

(and sorry if my English is not perfect i'm french  )

Salut,

It is possible to export the Marker from Davinci Resolve:

You create your marker in Edit Tab, (yellow, green, etc ...Clip, TL)
Then in the panel Media pool, you click right on the icon of your TL and chooses the menu:
TL => Export => Edit Index: you choose in .csv (comma separated) or .txt (delimited by value)

You get that is in the 'Edit Index' panel of the 'Edit Tab' tab.

As I have not Premiere for many years, it will surely be necessary that you transfome the export in a format compatible with Premiere. To test

Hope this help.
(La bienvenue depuis la France) :)

You can convert the Resolve's marker EDL to a human readable website with this tool, but they won't load into Premiere.

Hello everybody, I started creating a little online app called Chaptered which has the purpose of reformatting all kinds of different markers (Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve).

The app lets you choose the output you would like. Maybe at some point I will be able to also support the reverse and possible cross transforming between different formats of different programs.

At the moment it's mostly one way but again, you can choose the output line layout.

For Resolve, I currently only support the "Edit Index" in CSV format and not the EDL file though.

It's totally free and you can check it out at: chaptered.app

And I have a video, demoing the app:

And please send any feedback you may have my way.

P.S. my main motivation was to create something so I can export markers and then format them into Chapters for YouTube and Show Notes for Podcasts (so I don't have to write them out manually).
