Resolve ProRes+EDL Workflow: Media Offline

PostFri Mar 01, 2019 12:41 pm

Hey Guys,
Just experienced another "Bug" (It seems I'm doing everything correct).

When I'm importing the final edit ProRes File and am using a pre conformed edl, its always saying me that the media is offline. I've done everything like I always did, am I missing something? Did anything changed with the recent Resolve update? (I just updated Resolve)

Those Premiere <-> Resolve Workflows are really annyoing sometimes.

I run into this all the time with Premiere EDLs.

I work around it by:
Search for it using the name shown on the placeholder clip
Select it in the media pool
Right click on the placeholder clip
Select "conform lock with media pool clip"

That USUALLY nails it.

Did you check if the ProRes export and the EDL have the same starting timecode ?
