CPU spikes to 100% and crashes Resolve

Hi, hope I am posting in the right manner. Resolve is crashing almost immediately when I attempt to create or work on new projects. It doesn't matter how much media is used, and doesn't seem to be related to using any particular feature of the application. Uninstalling and reinstalling resolve may allow me to get through an entire project without issue, but eventually the crashes return.

What AMD driver do you have installed?
Are you using Resovle 15.3?
Free version?

I am having this same problem on the latest version of Resolve and the latest version of AMD GPU Drivers. I have an i7 8700K and an AMD 5700 XT with 16GB of RAM.
