This was just announced -
https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2019/03/2 ... arge-apps/Any plans from the Blackmagic developers to perhaps get Resolve as part of that testing / optimisation?

[edit]
Well, at the risk of answering myself
https://twitter.com/PellyNV/status/1108446520536432640"Oh, it's in there already and this first Creator Ready Driver includes a fix for a Resolve perf regression that was found on previous drivers!

Thanks for the heads up. I have seen Game Ready drivers cause issues with both Premiere Pro and Resolve, so it's nice to see nVidia testing their drivers against these programs before release.

I'll have to try and switch my 9xx over and see if it applies, these older devices are not listed as supported.

No mention of Davinci Resolve.
Well they atleast did something about the security-risk with the old drivers, intel can't close the spoiler risk with software or micro-code. Always wonder how you can optimize drivers for Adobe PP since it's a bunch of seperate programs glued together(not in the best way).
Marketing and PR is good, as always with NVidia.
They even removed the last security bulletin March 19, 2019.

I only watch links of Trumps twitter every now and then (it's his official channel), for the rest I prefer official channels like company and news websites.

Well, it wasn't just a random person tweeting. It was the product manager for the very thing we're talking about.

All those tweets are nice and might indicate something.
I will wait for an update on this article
https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/support-software/DaVinci-Resolve-15---Performance-loss-with-NVIDIA-418-419-driver-1376/It's regression started when they fixed the memory leaks
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4772 and are most visible when you use the memory bandwidth to the max(noise reduction).

Not specifically, but it seemed pretty clear to me that they only listed a couple of examples, not the full list of software they test against.

The release notes posted above seem to clearly say the performance issue is fixed. But I have an unsupported older GPU and couldn't install it. Thinking about new hardware for the last few days.
