Will CUDA error message go away if I buy the Studio version?

PostWed Mar 20, 2019 10:49 pm

Hi,
I have just installed Davinci Resolve (the free version) on a Linux Mint.
When starting, I get the error message "No CUDA boards available on chassis 1",
followed by "CRITICAL_PREF: DaVinci Resolve could not find any CUDA capable
GPUs. Would you like to review and update your DaVinci Resolve Hardware Configuration?"

It would be nice to know if this problem is expected to go away with the Studio version
before making the purchase.

nvidia driver 390.116-0ubuntu0.18.04.1 is installed and deviceQuery returns:

CUDA Device Query (Runtime API) version (CUDART static linking)

Hi.

Resolve for Linux only run on Centos 7.

In the top of the forum is a thread called: 'Painless install on Linux Centos 7'

If you need more help is there also a very long thread with more information. Here is a link to it:
