Every time, auto-save starts, I'm clicking somewhere and Resolve has to pause for a few seconds. The notification sound every single time I'm clicking while it's saving is obnoxious. I don't think it's necessary at all.

That's not Resolve, it's Windows. You can turn it off in the Control Panel. Windows Start Menu > Type "Change System Sounds".

Yeah, no Ping in Mac OSX or Linux (as far as I know). I actually would like an Alert sound on save, on scene cuts, and when a Render finishes -- and I'd like that to be presettable in the User Prefs. I think all three are nice, provided they're modifiable. (And I want it REAL LOUD when the Deliver render finishes.)

Sending an email at completion of Delivery rendering would be nice.

If you can accept starting the render with a script from the Fusion > Script menu or in the Resolve Console, sending an email/playing a sound at completion is simple. Or use the speech synthesis in the OS.

I would love a quick tutorial on that to understand what's possible ! Is there any ressources to learn about it ?

Thank you all!! I finally found it. It was the "Default Beep". It was just driving me crazy in Izotope with a value field and using ctrl+a.

Yeah, I like the notification features like SMS that Shotput Pro has.

So I've disabled the Windows "Default Beep" sound in control panel (that was actually a different pitch from the ping sound in Resolve), and Resolve is still making that annoying ping sound every time I do almost anything, move the play header, play or stop any clip. Interestingly it doesn't seem to do it on the Fusion, Colour or Delivery pages. Any ideas how I can stop it?

Same here. The sounds from Davinci Resolve are easily recognisable, but I cannot succeed in finding any of them from the 'change default sound' that was advised before. I CAN say, however, they are terribly annoying

Set the sound scheme to No Sounds in Control Panel/Sound/Sounds.

THIS DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. THE BEEPS KEEP COMING!!!

You likely have a different issue related to MIDI as discussed in your other thread. Disabling system sounds won't help.
