Hi,
sorry if this is a dull question, but I havent found anything online and in the manual. I'm pretty new to resolve.
So far my workflow for editing clips to the music beat was to set the playhead on the desired position and ripple edit the clip until the end of the clip snaps to the playhead position. This works fine if the edit is done at the end of the clip.
When I try to do the same at the beginning of the clip the playhead moves with the ripple edit and I lose my reference position. The question is, if there is a way to stop the playhead from moving when doing that ripple edit at the beginning of a clip.
