There is no Hand tool in Resolve. Have a look in the manual to see if there is an alternative using keyboard mapping. I just use a gaming mouse as it's so much easier in Resolve. There are quite a few functions dedicated to the middle mouse button such as copying grades between clips.

Thanks Peter,

How would you go about navigating the Color Viewer once zoomed in?

From the magic prefs site:

MagicPrefs is more than 5 years old now and is no longer mantained, the functionality it provided was made possible by Api's that are now deprecated and reverse engineered private Apple frameworks. Apple is not likely to replace the deprecated Api's nor provide access to the underlying multitouch technology so that's the end of the line for MagicPrefs and similar software.
TLDR if it doesn't work anymore thats it, if it still works then its just a matter of time until it won't.

Get a decent PC mouse and enjoy. They work with a Mac too.

Unpopular opinion: I've used a simple wired 3-button USB optical mouse with Resolve for 12 years. I can't deal with trackpads or Apple's terrible pointing devices. Honestly, I get good results with an HP X500 mouse, which is $12 from most dealers... and I've been a Mac guy for a long time. (I also use Dell UltraSharp displays, because they're easier to adjust and better than the stock Apple displays.)

I go through one about every 2-3 years, because of use and abuse, but I have a drawer-full of spares just in case.

Scroll while holding control.
