I had a problem with Davinci Resolve Lite, that couldn't open specific projects I made. I imported xml's from Premiere Pro and could colorgrade without problems. The problem was when I closed the program and tried to open it again. Davinci would simply shut down without any warning or error message.
After several attempts to export/import and optimize the database, I finally figured it out. I had non-english characters in my project name (I'm from Denmark so we have some strange letters) and just by changing the name, the project would open up again.
I just figured I would share this here, if there are anyone with similar issues (I couldn't find a solution online)
