Change default setting in the Stabilizer

I have multiple clips, over 100, that I need to stabilize so really wish there was a batch or repeat mode, but until then is there a way to at least change the default settings so I do not need to change them on every clip?
The default settings
Cropping Ratio 0.5
Smooth 0.25
Strength 1.0
are not working very well and I want to start with
Cropping Ratio 0.8
Smooth 0.5
Strength 0.5
Is there a way I can get it to come up with these settings so I can just select stabilize for each clip instead of having to change it for every clip. I know I will have to go and adjust a few clips but for most this will work.
Currently using Resolve 16 Beta

I wish this to be implemented too, spending hours of manual work to click each single clip and perform the same stabilization in 80% cases.

100% agreed. Or a presets menus. Going through them all and doing it is very labour intensive and needlessly so. I know what works for my footage and I have to dial it in every single time

Since the edit controls for stabilization mirror the stabilization on the color page, "paste attributes" works as long as the "color" checkbox is ticked. There seems to be a bug wherein the numbers in the stabilization panel don't reflect the paste right away, but as soon as you move the playhead, they'll change to the pasted values. Also, note that this will paste the tracking info from the original clip, and you'll need to click the "Stabilize" button again on the new clip. There's another bug where this button is sometimes disabled. I find that toggling the enable/disable switch for stabilization in the inspector usually fixes it.

YES! Really need something like this. Right now I am going shot by shot and dropping down to "Similarity" every time. There is no way to set a different method than Perspective for the default??

Wow , if there was a way to select a handful of clips and have them individually stabilize with your preferred method so you could batch it and step away...
would have saved me a good hour of tedious clicking today

Dear Black Magic Design,
Please allow this in your software. Adobe Premiere has had the ability to drop warp stabilizer on multiple clips and batch auto-analyze in the background for almost a decade now. Please listen to your editors.
Thank you.

This program does so many intelligent things, but there is no batch stabilization. It would save me (and so many others) many hours. Please BDR, make this happen!!
I still use Mercalli outside BDR, but wish I could do it inside BDR (only using BDR).

I registered as a user just to +1 this thread! BMD, we really need a way to batch apply our chosen stabilization to multiple clips!

Adding new futures seems more important than making stabilization better (see version 18). What can we do to convince BMD we really need this?
It seems this is not of any importance to them. Are new futures more important to their user base?

I’d also like to see a round trip feature for sending a clip to an external tracker like Syntheyes for 3D tracking and removing lens distortion. And then use that data directly for stabilization un-distortion in Resolve without getting Fusion involved. That would be so cool.

Hello!
I have discovered sth!
To do it in home way you need:
Stabilize one clip (1) with requied settings; go to COLOR tab; SELECT with shift button all clips You want to stabilize with requied settings exept first clip (1); CLICK middle mouse button on first clip(1); and come back to EDIT tab, all selected clips has requied settings.
Be careful with that sollution, I am totally beginer. you need to do it probably at the beggining of workflow.
Best regards
Janczer

Simply select a clip, set the stabilization type to your pereferrence without Analizing the clip afterwords and without makeing any other changes to the clip. Edit > Copy, select the rest ot the clips, right click > Paste Attributes ... > Select all Video Attributes > Apply

Enjoy!

A choice list in the preferences making the stabilisation mode by default. More tha half of the times, I need Translation mode over Perspective mode, because it makes the entire image wobbly when the filmed subject is stable but the framing changes slightly.
Simple solution on 19.: just select all the clips on the timeline > Change to the mode you want, that's it.
Unselect all clips, select any clip: it keeps the stabilisation mode.
Or
Select all the clips on the timeline you want to stabilise > Change stabil. mode and OK. It do the work all at once.

Seems nice, but in my case, I have already made color changes. I nee to select only the Stabilisation mode, but I don't see any settings on the Paste Attributes window.
