Hi All - Just wondering if it is possible to automatically split an .mp4 into its constituent still frames in Resolve.
Doing it by hand would take forever!

I am in Edit mode. When I click on File I get the drop down menu below. No sign of 'Export as an image sequence' though.

I would add the clip to a new timeline, then go to the Delivery tab, and export the project with these options:

This will create a new TIFF image for each frame in the video. Remember to export into a new folder, because it will generate a lot of images. You can use 'Custom' resolution to match your image resolution to your clip's resolution.
Ahh! Guys. Thank you all so much. Doing it as an 'image sequence' is just what I was looking for.
