Debug file on drive C:\\ is way too big! [ResolveDebug.txt]

Hi Guys!

I am running out of space on drive C and this is one of the reasons...


Seriously... Is it necessary?

Sounds like you have an insane problem on your system for your debug file to be above 12gb.........
Check whats in there and fix it.

I have no any issues on my system. Everything else is running like a butter.

Stop resolve , delete the file, start resolve and check the content of the regenerated file

I also ran out of disk space on my C drive and found this to be the problem.

my ResolveDebug,txt file was 104GB!!!!

I indeed have some issues with resolve (somtimes it won't 'play' the media anymore) but creating a 62GB log file is not a way to solve that. a log file should have a limited size.

Or is there at least a way to direct that file to another location? My system SSD has limited space, the data hdd has plenty of room.

yes, it's recreated at next Davinci startup.

But a standard log is under 100kb so I would advice contacting support if it's larger than that

My debug file is FIVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ONE GB.

WTF?

Computer running fine.

I'm deleting it.
