Studio License Key re-use/ activation?

Hi all!

I had a question about the Activation Key of the Studio version, now that dongles are no longer the way BM does its validation.

I'm in the habit of formatting my computer every year and a half, and reinstalling everything, just to keep things from bogging down.
Can I keep activating the same key for Resolve, when I do that, or am I limited to a fixed number of activations?
Does BM have a way of recognizing my hardware or whatever and allowing the same user who bought the Key to use it again?
What if I change some hardware components of my computer, or build another one?

I'm scared of paying for the studio version only to find out I'm limited to a certain number of "uses", that defeats the whole concept of buying it once forever!

I think that's the final worry I have before I jump ship from Adobe!

Purchase once. Install on up to two machines at the same time.

When u install the third time the others are de-registered automatically. You can also manually de-register, then re-register as often as you need for hardware changes. You always have up to two activations available so even if your hard drive fails do u can’t manually de-register just enter your number in again to re-activate.

Don’t lose the number. It’s like cash and BMD have no knowledge if you or your friends have it but in any case, only two activations at the same time.

I’d suggest taking a photo of the card.

Ah, perfect! It will only be installed on my machine at any given time, never on any other, I was just worried about future potential re- activations!

I deactivated Davinci Resolve 16 license key and uninstalled the software because I had driver issues.
Now, I want to activate the software after I reinstalled it. I don't see an option in the software to activate Resolve,
Need help...

The simple answer is to download Resolve and enter your serial number.
