Getting "Failed to Save Project" popups on 16.6

Installed beta 6 this morning and all of a sudden getting repeated error popups saying "Davinci Resolve Failed to Save Project" even when I'm not saving the project. See screenshot. Also, will not let me get into Preferences to check the save settings.

Update: Restarted DR16.6 and disabled Live Save in Preferences thinking that might be the culprit. So far so good.

I got that this morning on B5 but I think my problem was my C: drive was almost full.

Just had this happen in Studio beta 7 for Windows. Only way out was to use Task Manager to kill Resolve.

And another.

I have had this happen a twice in beta 6 on OS X. In both cases, this is what preceded it: I was cleaning up a project and deleted a bin with many clips. After deletion, I realized that the bid had contained one clip I didn't want to delete, so I did command-Z. After a moment, Resolve showed the "Failed to Save Project" pop-up, and the only way to escape was to use activity manager to quit. If it's useful, I can try to trigger the error again and send a log.

Still happening in Beta 7.

For me, it seems linked to Dynamic Project Switching. It only ever happens after Copying and Pasting from one project to another.

Same thing is happening for me in Beta 7 (on Mac). I'm getting this error immediately after copying and pasting even a single clip from one project to another when Dynamic Project Switching is enabled. Otherwise, projects save just fine and my hard drive has plenty of space, so my error isn't space related.

Are you aware that the release version is now available?

I kept getting the failed to save project error and then forced closed it with Task Manager and all my projects are gone. Is there a way to get the projects back? I backed up my projects back in January, but I would have lost a lot of work.

Is there a place where the projects go in your computer?

I've just encountered the same issue. It looks like it was caused by the Davinci cache filling up the drive it was on. The real issue is it's really difficult to recover from it. The popup is modal so you can't do anything in Davinci to try and rectify it as once you click ok it re-appears a few seconds later so you don't really have time to do anything. Also I tried cleaning out some space on the relevant drive but that didn't stop the popup either.
After a lot of frustration trying to get to the menu options between popups I found turning "Live Save" off stops the message popping up.
There really needs to be a better way to handle this.

Had this also after copying and pasting from one project to another. Clicking File --> Save As --> renaming the project worked for me.

PS. Signed up for the forum to answer your question. Hope this helped.

Just got this error too.
Is there a solution?

* I got this error again on creating a new project and found that the project title had paragraph-formatting once renamed the error was gone
