Davinci resolve 15 sound glitch

Hello. I've been using resolve 15 for about a few weeks and every video y hat I render to mp4 has spotty sound after the render. For example, the first new music nuts of the video are fine (even after a few transitions and clips) but then at the end of the 5th or so clip, the sound just cuts out until the next one starts leaving about 30 seconds of silence. This happens a few more times in the rendered mp4 version. Can someone please help me figure out what is happening and how to fix it?

If it helps to know this, the clips I recorded were through geforce experience and run perfectly smoothly with no audio or visual flaws. The only issue is after the render to mp4 with sound on aac or acc or whatever it's called
