I need to deliver MXF with 4 audio channels (2 identical stereo pairs).
When outputing 2 audio tracks (2 stereo pairs), the output in second audio track becomes corrupted (crackles). Adding second Main Bus doesn't help.
Sub Bus doesn't help either.
I've confirmed this with other Windows machine.
This "effect" is exaggerated when using any plugin (i.e. Limiter) on Main1 Bus.





Artifacts are visible in waveform and clearly audible.

Has anyone experienced this bug and maybe found a solution?

I am willing to switch from Premiere to Resolve and this bug (along with other bug - black artifacts in Sony XDCAM mpeg2 output) is a real deal breaker as I have to deliver MXF XDCAMHD with 4 audio channels.

Resolve 15 apparently also has this bug.

The project is 1920x1080 25p. Source footage - ProRes4444, MXF XDCAMHD, Audio - 48000 16 and 24 bits

My setup:
Resolve 16b07
Windows 10 Pro
Core i7 9700K
RAM 64GB 3200GHz
Gigabyte Z390 Designare
OS: Samsung 970EVO 250GB
Cache: Samsung 970EVO 250GB
Projects: Samsung 860 EVO 2TB

You didn't mention the GPU which is extremely important for the image issue..

Drivers updated (DCH Studio version).

As you can see artifacts in the waveform, are you sure that the original audio is not corrupt?

Yes, absolutely. We've confirmed this behaviour on a completely different Windows system with different source file.

So the problem still not solved in DR 16.0

I guess we need a sample project and the sample media clip to try to repo

Similar behaviour is if I insert two plugins on bus. Exported audio has cracks.
My resolve is insert effect plugins to timeline track (not to bus) but I'd like preferred correct behaviour of DaVinci. I hope Blackmagic developers fix it.

16.1 Beta3 has fewer audio glitches in second stereo pair, but they are still present.

This bug seems to be fixed in 16.1

Are you guys still getting this bug? I'm on the latest version, 16.1.2. I tried setting the Render Speed to 50 but still getting some crackling, tried other Render Speed settings with no luck as well. I'm on Windows and my project uses Compound Clips (I think the bug is related to this).

Update: I could solve the issue, on my project I had "Cross Fade 0 dB" audio transitions connecting every audio, after I removed all those audio transitions the crackling was gone.

No crackling since 16.1
But I didn't test it with crossfades.

In 16.2 audio has cracks again if you put two plugins on bus.
That's a bad joke!

That's not a good message. That is why I staying for now on 16.2.7.

In 17 beta3 still not fixed, although release notes state that it's been addressed...
