Hi,

first I'd like to say I realise that to get constant fullscreen monitor playback you need some kind of card etc, that is not what the question is.

I have resolve running on a laptop connected to a second monitor.

I have the main panels etc on the large external monitor with the scopes, keyframes etc on the laptop screen.(primary screen is set to screen 2 - the external).

I'm grading and when I hit cmd F to make it fullscreen it always does fullscreen on the laptop screen. Is there a way of making it do the fullscreen on the external monitor instead ?

Thanks.

Hi, I know this is an extremely late reply but I would just like to share my solution for anyone who ends up stumbling across this.

I assume we are all on Mac here since the OP is using cmd F.

You have to switch your secondary display to your primary display in your Mac display settings.
System Preferences->Displays->Gather Windows... then drag the white bar from your laptop monitor to your secondary monitor.

After that go into Davinci and revert your primary display to your laptop (for me it was labeled Color LCD)
Workspace->Primary Display->Color LCD.

Davinci now thinks the secondary monitor is your primary monitor and will open the full screen display on the secondary monitor with cmd F.
