Source Overwrite does not work on audio synced clips

I used the Sync Clip tool to synchronise 2 clips based on their audio.
This worked fine.

In the Cut page with the Media Pool tab open.
I placed Camera 1 on the time line and selected an in and out from camera 2.
Pressing the Source Overwrite does nothing whereas pressing the other insert modes works.
I appears that the system is looking for a timecode match, forgetting that the clips have been previously synced via the audio - and show a sync mark in the left top corner in the left hand side display.

checking for solutions to that issue, I stumbled over you post...any news since then? Experiences with more recent versions??
I'm having exactly the same troubles - SOURCE OVERWRITE won't work with any synced clips...I also updadet to Resolve17 and bought the studio version, but no function of this button whatsoever...this is really annoying!
So, if someone can help, would be highly appreciated!

With the same issue. In my case it syncs the audio just fine. When I open the multicam in the timeline it shows that it's been aligned just fine. But when I use "Source Overwrite" it just places the clips into the timeline out of sync.
