Well, i'm new on resolve and my windows laptop isn't very good, i've read some post about the same problem but i'm not able to solve my case.
Let me explain, i just installed DR16 earlier this day and because my system struggled with the playback, so i searched for some tutorials on how to improve this issue, i found the "Generate Optimized Media" option and used it a few times and it worked fine, but after restarting DR it wouldn't work anymore, showing me the "Error occured during optimized media generation.cancelling" message.
I am using an Acer Aspire V Touch.
-intel i7 2.6GHz
-12 GB RAM
-1TB Hard drive (only 250GB used)
-Intel HDgraphics4400
I am not a professional editor, i just want to edit small videos for hobby but i can't work on DR because of this problem.
