Lower 3rd Corporate Corners 2 lines - Bug

PostThu Aug 22, 2019 12:10 am

BUG REPORT

Whenever I use this lower third about 3/4 of the way into it the screen turns black. If I make it shorter to maybe cut out that part the black screen still shows up.

I have the same problem. Curious to know if anyone knows how to fix this?

A non-ideal work around is to go into fusion after you place the lower third and remove the KeyframeStretcher node right before media out.

Getting something similar - one corner now fails to show (bottom left) and for the first 2 seconds it's saying media offline. Not familiar enough with Fusion to figure a workaround. Oddly the corner that is showing (top right) is tagged as the 'left' corner in the settings tab when I select the templatae in the timeline. Another odd thing is the position seems way off (far, far out to the right instead of closer to the text as before).

i did a project using these a few months ago and had to revisit it today for an update to find none of the lower thirds work as before.

UPDATE: Yep, last couple of seconds black as well - so removed the KeyframeStretcher node (thanks George) but still have the issue with a single corner instead of two (I'm sure there used to be two and I'm not imagining it) and the position of that corner etc. I'll grin and bear it.

UPDATE 2:
Awkward as hell workaround but it's nearly 2am and I'm done with this : ) :
Followed the brilliant instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=99109
But was stil lacking the corners. Realised that the single line version is fine, so just aligned the single line lower third in the right place and deleted the text on it - so i have a layer with no text but corners and a layer with text but no corners (cropped them).

Meh.

Thank you George, saved me quite some headache.
I think this error happens, when one copy - pastes the preset within a timeline instead of choosing it from the preset menu.
