Quick Export Functionality

PostThu Sep 05, 2019 7:56 pm

Does anyone know if you can export an in and out range when using the quick export feature? Or is it purely the entirety of your timeline? I know you can specify in and out points in the Deliver page but would be nice if that carried over into the Quick Export feature.

A good example for this functionality would be projects on tighter deadlines where you need review of segments vs the entire timeline.

I guess the current workaround would be to have sub timelines but then for me it becomes unnecessarily complex with multiple subclips/compound clips.

To use Quick Export: In the Edit, Fusion, or Color page, optionally set In and Out points in the Timeline to choose a range of the current program to export. If no timeline In or Out points have been set, the entire timeline will be exported.

This should work in theory...It's ignoring my In / Out points on my Edit page when I perform a Quick Export.

Same problem here! Quickexport completely ignores mark in and mark out and there is no dropdown menu or similar to choose between entire project or the marked area, as in the deliver page.
Solutions? Do I really have to save an entirely new project for just this time span?
