Can't use special characters in subtitles, eg: Ç, Á, ÃO, Ó.

PostMon Sep 09, 2019 11:33 am

Hello editors,

I am from Brazil, and we use accented letters and different characters as these (ç, á, ão, ó, ê) and others. I am using Pop Os 19, everything is alright, Davinci is super stable and fast - Thanks Blackmagic, again. But, when I am writing Brazilian Portuguese subs I need to write out in a gedit and copy/paste to Davinci to have these special characters there.

I read around and my configs are fine, the keyboard layout, fine, but for some reason when I type these letters they don't show if I copy, they show..

Both my desktop and laptop have the same issue.

Any clue?

This is the only issue I have. Thanks for the support and your time.
