Hello friends of Resolve,

normaly Im editing with Avid Media Composer but I wanna try Resolve 16 now. Im looking for an Option that is called "Clear Monitor" in Avid Media Composer. If you open a Sequence in Avid this function "kicks out" the Sequenz (like closing it) so that the timeline window and timeline viewer is clear/black. Is there any option like this in Resolve 16?

Thansk for helping me.

Greetings,
Markus

All I can think of is to enable Stacked Timelines in the Timeline View Options, then close all the timelines.

You could try the "close current timeline" option under the File menu, though if you're in tabbed or stacked mode, one of the remaining timelines (if any) will replace the one just closed.

In that case, you'd have to click the "x" to the left of all current timelines. Or just open a new timeline.

Out of curiosity, what is the point of doing this?
