Fusion Studio missing Media Pool

PostThu Dec 05, 2024 4:37 pm

I cannot get past step 1 in a tutorial because there appears to be no Media Pool in Fusion Studio 19.1.1 b6. I'm on a Mac Studio M2. I am a Resolve user, so I'm familiar with the Media Pool, and the Fusion Manual shows the Media Pool as a tab directly beside the "Effects Library" tab, but it's not there. Also, I assume that the manual is out of date because my tab is simply named "Effects". I'm beginning to wonder if I'm even using the correct software?

I scoured the internet for an answer, but I found none. Help please!

Media pool is Resolve page for media organization of all resolve content, includeds Fusion page in Davinci Resolve. If you are using Fusion Studio a separate application, there is CTRL + B. Bin. The Fusion Studio equivalent of Media Pool. Also included is Studio Player as part of the Bins interface.

If you are using Resolve, the fusion page should have media pool button next to effets, because its part of whole resolve interface.

Virtually nobody uses the Bins as an equivalent to the Media Pool. Most of us have to be reminded that they even exist.

Use a Loader to import your footage, or just drag it from the Finder into the Nodes area, and a Loader will be automatically created.

Well, when I saw those bins pop up again for some reasons, it was a nostalgic pleasant moment however :D
But yes, hadn't seen bins for 2 years before...
