bmd.readfile error when not in scripts folder

Since Resolve 20, there's an issue with bmd.readfile that makes it throw an error when it is called from a folder that isn't Scripts/

This is the error that is thrown: `attempt to index a string value`

Is there any way that this can be fixed?
