Follower not working in 7.5?

Hi,

I am new to Fusion and installed the free 7.5 version happily, when it became available. I am now trying to get a grip on how it works and what can I could do with it.
I wanted to do a text animation using the Follower modifier, but for some reason it does not work. I followed the steps outlined in one of the Eyeon Fusion video tutorials, but no matter what I do, no change in the Follower modifier is affecting the text. Only changes in the actual Text tool get applied to my text. I do not know if I miss anything completely obvious, but from the video I watched nothing seemed to be specifically set up to make this work.

Is there any issue with the Follower modifier in Fusion 7.5 or am I just not able to use it correctly?

Replying to my own post here.

I figured actually out what I have done wrong. Apparently items changed in the Follower modifier need to be set to animate, before any changes show up interactively in the viewer (even without playing through an animation).

There is a lot more to learn ...
