Where is the output folder for Fusion?

PostSun Jan 18, 2015 8:11 pm

This might (most definitely will) sound like a newbie question so sorry...

but I can't seem to find the output folder for Fusion 7. The console tells me

Render started at Sun 7:51PM (Range: 0 to 60)
Render completed successfully at Sun 7:51PM - Total Time: 0h 0m 0.01s, Average: 10000.00 frames/second

It's a pretty simple render... just a bunch of text and an image (to get me started)
The problem is though, a major part of post-rendering is locating the file afterwards - and I can't do that. I haven't had to set any file path up

Thanks in advance

Luca

you need at least one saver node in your comp to actual write files on your disk

you can have as many fileoutput (saver nodes) as you want at every step of your comp

Hi Luca,
Have you tried the training page on Blackmagic Design website?
There is a long series of basic tutorials that will help you get a hand on things.
These are not advanced composting tutorials, they are exactly what you need.
