BUG - keboard commands plus save menu stop working

Hello I have a recurring problem with the keyboard commands for example ctrl space for calling the Tool list and ctrl s for save. These are the errors I get in the console tab.

I have to click the toAt the same time all the menu save functions do not work, save, save as, etc, though open works fine.p Right windows X to shut down the comp and then I get a save dialog that works.
Restarting Fusion will restore all the lost function, only to have it fail again after some time. I have not been able to see a pattern of when or what is causing the lost functionality.

Can you check if eyeonscript.exe is running, or multiple instances?

It sound like scripting is not working. You may have to open port from firewall to allow eyeonscript to work.

I'm having the same problem!

Been having it in v7 and 8b1 and still in 8b2.

The following Fusion services are running (as far as I can tell what's related)

Fusion
Fusion QT Server
Fusion Script Services for Fusion
Fusion Server for Fusion
Fusion Server for Fusion (2nd instance)


This has been happening on Win 8.1 and now on 10.0 as well.

There is a rule for it in the firewall too.

Any further help would be appreciated!

I have the very same problem
CTRL+Space doesn't work, others (like CTRL+B) do work. Drives me nuts!

This is what I get in the Console:

That file also doesn't exist in that place, I found it only in C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion\Scripts\Comp

eyeonscript.exe isn't running, only Fusion (+ the QT Server, Script Services and Fusion Server).

I'm running on Windows 10, this problem only occurs in Fusion 8 (both betas), in Fuion 7 it's fine

I was able to workaround this by just copying the Add Tool-script file into the location marked in the Console. However, I feel there's something that went wrong during the installtion, paths were messed up. How to repair that globally?

hmm. interesting..

Can you try to remove it completely from your system? if it's on Mac, cleanup the Library's as well.
Then re-install and see if that happens again.

I did have an install issue myself, not related but there could be validity to this for sure.

I checked it out.
I deleted the file, deinstalled Fusion 8, reinstalled it (newest installer from the website, just to be sure), and the same happens again.

We also have this happen. But it is inconsistent. It seems to happen to some of the artists in our shop more than it happens to others. Identical machines, same environment. Cannot seem to find the common thread to pull on to try and solve it. Anything you all find, I am very interested.
