Quicktime Blackmagic export

PostFri Nov 06, 2015 10:08 am

In my company we always use Blackmagic 10bit for final output from fusion.
By default, depth is set to automatic. Everybody (on every PC) use this setting except me on my PC.

I don't know if it can be seen on my attachment, but automatic setting has lower gamma than 8bit. I have to set 8bit to get "close to original" gamma. Bytheway if my coworker renders in 8bit, he gets tottaly "broken" image (purple image with lines). Blackmagic 8bit with depth set to automatic gets same rasult as 10bit. Other depths on blackmagic 8bit don't work for me.

This problem is annoying cause we frequently open each others comps, and than we have to change saver every time. I don't have to tell you how many times you forget to do this :D .

So my question is, why different results from pc to pc? Driver problems? Codec problems? I tried different things, but never found solution.

Thank you.
