Preferences I/O QuickTime gone

PostWed Nov 25, 2015 5:11 pm

Hi, I'm an IT tech working for a public school and I have been ask to deploy Fusion 7.7.1 on multiple Windows 7 Ent SP1 x64 French. The installation works without problem. But I found out that on some computers the QuickTime plugin under Preferences > I/O is missing. And yes QuickTime is install and working correctly. So why is it missing and how can I get it back?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, here's more information on my problem.

Fusion 7.7.1 (Freeware)
OS: Windows 7 Ent SP1 x64 French
System: LENOVO Lenovo Product 0568-51f
Video card: NVidia Quadro 2000D (Driver version 354.13)
RAM: 12 Go

All computers have the same applications except on the teacher computer who have a few more applications. And each time I open Preferences in the File menu the choice QuickTime is missing under I/O.

Note: We install our computers using Novell ZENworks. So each computers are install the same way and all computers in my lab are using the same applications installed the same way (silent install). I Hope I make sense here!

I just found out that if NetOP Vision 9 Student is installed on the computer then Fusion can't see the QuickTime plugin. and, if I uninstall NetOP Vision 9 Student and reboot the computer then Fusion can see the QuickTime plugin. So any suggestions?
