How To Remove Checkered Background On Text Node?

PostWed Aug 03, 2016 8:34 pm

Hi there! I'm new to using Fusion, and I was just messing around with it for a while. I managed to get a background with a bit of noise. Then, I tried to add some regular 2D text. Whenever I connected the Text1 node to the Background 1 node, it would show the final product as the background I wanted, but slightly merged together with the text AND the checkered background, which I do not want! How would one go about only having the text appear in this situation? Thanks!

The checkered bgd is a display function in the viewer that shows you where the matte is transparent. It is not rendered. If you want to see the image without it turn of the matte display in the viewer (the little checkered icon at the bottom next to SmR).
