Fusion Connect Problem

PostMon Nov 14, 2016 6:25 am

I tested out fusion connect in Resolve the other day, the problem is I appear to have lost the ability to undo the connect and go back to the original Resolve Clip with Grading.

Even stranger, I went back to an older version of the project to recover it and for some reason it now shows the clip as being Fusion connect even though its an older project and I never altered in there.

What is going on? How can I make the clip return to its normal Resolve clip? It can't possibly have removed all the node information to my work can it? (Let alone screw it up in other saved versions of the project)

Currently it seems that Fusion Connect is under development.

You can right click the Fusion Connect Clip in Resolve and choose "Open In Timeline" and it will open the clips that were selected to create Fusion Connect in a separate Timeline, similary to a Compound Clip.

But you cannot make any changes to them. You can only reset the grades and, If I recall correctly, reset transforms.

You cannot decompose it either.

So, personally, I always copy the clip(s) using the Alt key before creating a Fusion Connect clip.
