So I was asked by a user, what I would do to generation, So here are my top feature requests/ bugs.
Feature requests:
multi user problems. currently if someone is in edit mode, no one else can change anything. which means scaling to more people is a problem,
video out. I have a blackmagic card, I want playback to go out it.
relative paths. currently it's all absolute paths, I want relative, so when I take my whole project folder somewhere else, it all just connects.
import settings. or have settings per project. as in status and assignments. so you can have it specific to who is working on the show. and some shows might have a status. that others don't.
the option to turn on drawing for all frames, not just the one. or jump to drawing. would also be nice, cant tell you how many times you draw on the screen when a client is in, then later thumbing through the frames trying to find which one has the drawing.
Mac version, this isn't a big deal, but mainly so our colorist can have access to it.
option to buy it just it, again for colorist, he doesn't need fusion, but does need to see where shots are and what to grab.
fix bugs!,
-half the time thumbnail caching doesn't work.
-there was an issues with notes, where you had to playback the shot, then go out to add shot notes, but it would put the notes on whatever was last played not what was selected. I just tested in newest version and it seems to work, but it was one of those that only happens part of the time. so I"m not sold it's actually fixed.
-preferences always go away when you update and you have to re add them.
