Fusion Connect options

In resolve when I try and set up a fusion connect clip from either an Arriraw file, R3d or Quicktime i don't get an option to 'use source media for fusion connect clip'

All I see is the option to 'open fusion connect clip'.

i.e. I'm forced to work with backed in color from Resolve, I don't for some reason have the option to work with a clip linked to the original media.
I thought this was because I was using a raw file but this even happens with quicktimes...

Is there an option somewhere that I'm missing?

As far as I've seen, the option to create new media only happens when the source media is not supported in Fusion. Try sending a Connect Clip with a ProRes file, see if that works. If not, I'd suspect something else is the issue.

Additionally, if it's any help, use EXR s its a lossless format. ( If you have the drive space to duplicate that In/Out of your media.)
