Bake a Displacement?

PostTue Apr 20, 2021 9:07 pm

I was wondering if there is any way to process a displacement geometry to a lighter archive to put in a 3D scene. I'm barely new to this topic. I am using some height maps to displace plane shapes but each shape keeps making my scene render slower. Am I forced to render a layer for each geometry?

Would someone be so kind to help me with issue please?
Thank you for your time

Greetings

You can use an FBXExporter node to save your displaced geo, then bring it back in with File > Import > FBX. The Exporter works just like a Saver node—connect it to the scene output you want to save, then render.
