EDIT: title got cut off. Posterize time!
When I want to make a 24fps comp “feel” like 12fps, I usually add a TimeStretcher node with this formula:

floor(time/2)*2
so that Fusion only renders every 2 frames.
For some reason, though, if I’m working for too long, Fusion gets progressively slower and it seems like it’s working too hard to recalculate that expression every time. Is there a more efficient way to achieve this effect?
