Fusion8 and BM Decklink Mini Monitor

PostSat Jan 14, 2017 12:43 am

Can Fusion8 (free, not studio) do video output via the MB Minimonitor?

It's found in the general preferences, and I've set it to a proper format 1080p25 (Spain).
No error in console...

But I can't figure how to get any image from Fusion to program video out.

I've received and installed the card today. It's working perfectly fine with Davinci Resolve.

In Fusion, the lower part of the Video Monitoring preference tab is blocked, and if I try to activate monitor output I get a warning "Only for Studio Users". Does it mean there's no video output without Studio license? I guessed that blocked options were related to on-screen controls or any other feature, but "free fusion" users could have simple video monitoring through MiniMonitor.

The compare sheet between Resolve and Resolve Studio says nothing about this.

Can anyone confirm to me if there's video output via MiniMonitor to free-Fusion users?

And if so, how to activate it? Do I try to drag a node to the PAL monitor? ( :

Wrong.

It works if you press 3 the output goes to your Mini Monitor.

Thats' so funny, thanks Eric! Works with the free Fusion and Mini Monitor, even when the monitor output is not enabled...

My apologies. I have a deckilnk 4K Intensity Pro that didn't work till I went to Studio and assumed BM would block the Mini as well (Decklink interface).

In 17.2.1 it don't work for me! Not on 3,4,5,6 etc. It goes on my second windows monitor but not to the videomonitor.

You might want to start a new thread specific to v17 rather than resurrecting a four-year-old thread. Fusion's changed so much since v8 that whatever issues were happening here are very certainly not the same as what you're experiencing. And people might just float right by a Fusion 8 thread without opening it.
