How do I randomize the velocity of my particles

PostFri May 27, 2022 9:13 pm

When I simply add in a "pEmitter" node and a "pRender" node in front of it, and I turn up the "Number" to 100, the "Velocity" to 5, and the "Angle" to 90, the particle emitter node emits particles much faster, except they just basically duplicate the original particle sphere over and over again as they go up. How do I make all of the particles a steady stream going up?

I would try lowering your Velocity, to maybe 1 or 2. I would also add some Velocity Variance, and maybe some number variance.
