Keyframes not being saved in template

I'm trying to save a simple lower thirds animation I made in Resolve Studio 17 using Fusion. Everything else works but the keyframes to the animation do not carry over. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here, it seems like its only tied to the first clip I created it on, should I have made a separate fusion comp?
