No Shadow on M1 MacBook?

PostSun Aug 14, 2022 10:27 am

Hello everyone

I have a problem with Fusion 3D. For reasons unknown to me Fusion does not cast a shadow . I have a spotlight I have enabled all shadows also in the renderer tried different options but it remains as it is, it does not cast a shadow. I am using a MacBook Pro with M1 chip set and unfortunately don't have a PC to try an alternative.

Has anyone of you experienced that with the in one chipset the shadows do not work in Da Vinci Resolve?

Have you tried it with any shapes like a sphere or a plane?

Try moving the light backward, away from the setup. I just tested, and there seems to be some kind of clipping happening. This is happening on Windows, too, so I think it has nothing to do with the M1.

The only thing I did between these two screenshots was move the light:
