issue with Fusion

PostThu Jan 26, 2023 7:50 pm

I am relatively new to resolve. I am trying to create a tracked callout in Fusion and am having many issues. I have looked at numerous videos, followed them step by step. I have been working on this for the past three days with no luck.

The attached image is not for a callout, but a simple attempt to display text. Notice the green outlined text in the lower left corner, even though the Inspector indicates that the text should be solid white. I am having this problem with text, callouts, etc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Can you post a screenshot of the whole Fusion page with the Text+ node in the left viewer, the MediaOut in the right viewer and the Text+ node selected.

As you can see by the white dot on the MediaIn node, that's the actual tool you're watching.
If you click the Text tool and then press '2' you will see the text node.
If you click the Mediaout and then press '2' you will see the final result.

I figured out the reason I was having a problem. The Callout now tracks as expected. Thank you both for taking the time to respond to a real noobie.
