Card Reflection

PostTue Nov 05, 2019 5:56 am

Hi All,

I am in the process of inserting greenscreen people on cards into a rendered shot. I need to create a mirror of the card that I can use for the reflection in the floor. Is there an easy way to go about this or is a manual approach my best option?

I hope that is enough information to go on.

Thanks,
Travis

Just copy/flip the card and render it through a different 3D renderer so you can adjust the shadows to your liking and then combine the two.

Thanks.

I slept on it and came up with a solution that I think will work well... Generating the reflection before the card works well for me as now I only have 1 card to manipulate which means less of a chance of breaking things.
