360 Viewer?

PostTue Oct 13, 2020 3:20 pm

Hi All,

I have a question about the 360 viewer inside of Fusion. Once I click on the viewer, how do I navigate/look around? Nothing seems to work in the viewport.

The bullet point below if from the marketing material for Fusion 9, and is what I can't seem to make work.

360° image viewer allows rotating the viewpoint of latlongs and cubemaps (same controls as rotating the 3D viewpoint)

Hi,

As far as I know, the controls are basically the same as when viewing a 3D scene.
Alt + middle mouse button + drag to look around.
Shift + mouse wheel to rotate the viewpoint vertically at regular intervals.
Left and middle mouse button + drag left or right to zoom in or out.
Ctrl + mouse wheel to zoom in or out at a constant magnification.
Ctrl + 1 to reset viewpoint to the right.
I don't know if it's a software specification or a bug that Ctrl + 1 doesn't face forward, or if there's some other way to reset viewpoint to the front.

THANKS! I don't know why I couldn't get it to work before. I think sometimes it takes a few seconds to "engage," but once it does I can look around.
