Hi there. I'm unsure how to Google/Youtube this question, so maybe someone here could help me out. I have a video that's pretty blurry. There's lots of glitter and whatnot. I made some starbust sparkles using the hotspot and highlight effect, but obviously, they are super flat and sharp. What I would like to do is just blur the starburst effect without blurring up the original image more. I feel this is probably fairly simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

The highlight tool should have an option to only output the effect and then blur it and merge it over your footage.

For the hotspot tool you could add that to a transparent background and then merge that over your footage as well.
