Why the paint and mask paint are so slow in fusion? Is there a way to improve their performance? Is it possible to create a shortcut for the mask paint tool to change the white and black color values like x in Photoshop?

I don't know about shortcuts for the color. But you could increase the spacing while drawing and decrease it when you're finished. This should make it more interactive.
