Gridwarp: Strange behavor when editing

PostFri Jan 08, 2021 2:36 pm

Hey- when i´ve changed the warp-rectangle´s using the shape-box and try to change the grid´s resolution it´s behaving strange.

I´ve a recorded a video to understand what i´m talking about:

And: Subdivisions are not working!
And: Gridsizes bigger than 31 does not work, too.

That happens because the point numbering changes when you add more points, and Fusion has limited abilities to figure out where the new points should go. If you go directly from odd to odd numbers of grid points, it might keep the existing points in place, but the new ones will appear at their default locations. If you go from even to odd or vice versa, it will probably destroy data about everything except the corners.

It gets even more messy if there are published points and trackers involved.

Which version are you using? Both subdivs and grid sizes greater than 31 seem to be working in build 24 on Windows.
