White fringe on 3d depth blur

PostMon Jan 18, 2021 6:22 pm

Hi chaps. I'm stumped as to what is happening here. So I have some image planes in a 3d merge and one camera. I've taken the 3d renderer out, into a depth blur and it works... except there is a nasty white jaggy edge on the image plane alphas. The images on the 3d planes are keyed with delta key and they are clean until the depth blur. Any ideas?

Excuse me, did you find out what was causing the jaggy edge?
I got the same problem =/

Hiya, I’m trying to remember what I did... As i recall i couldn’t get anywhere with it, so abandoned the depth blur altogether. Sorry to be so vague. I think i just spilt things up into a 2d comp and blurred them. Pretty irritating really.
